Creator is built around a specific philosophical position: AI should assist educators, not replace their judgment. The workflow is explicit — AI generates a draft, the educator reviews and validates every question before a student ever sees it. This directly addresses the most common objection to AI in schools, and it's why Creator is an educator tool, not a student tool.
Cognoscient uses its own AI provider interface layer (CAPIM) to keep AI integration provider-agnostic. Currently, users connect their own API keys directly — you stay in control of which provider you use and what you spend. A Cognoscient-managed prepaid credit system is planned for a future update, which will remove the need to manage API keys directly.
